Capernaum AI was born out of compassion for the broken.

It all started at a dinner party. I had spent the last four years recovering from a debilitating hip injury. As we went around the table sharing about our weeks, versions of the same story kept coming up again and again. Pain. Sickness. Prolonged recovery. No clear answers. It was a disheartening dinner conversation, and an eye-opening one.

After years of working in data, AI and robotics, I had seen the transformational effects of AI and autonomy. But somehow our bodies were just as broken, and when that's the case little else matters.

Capernaum was built to bridge the gap - to solve the unique development challenges of AI and autonomy in the healthcare arena, and help usher in a new era of advanced technology that can enable true, lasting, and even surprising healing.

Our team hails from Harvard, MIT and UC Berkeley with relevant experience at Scale AI, Meta, Delphina and Built Robotics.
